6th FIAP WORLD CUP FOR CLUBS

Dundalk Photographic Society have managed to achieve the runner-up position in this prestigious "salon" for clubs around the world.
This year a record 131 clubs entered and Dundalk Photographic Society managed a fete no other club in the world has done - a first and second placing in consecutive years. When we were successful last year a total of five authors represented the club - we availed of a new rule introduced by FIAP to allow smaller clubs around the world to compete on an equal footing. This year we managed to include seven authors - Arthur Carron, Ciaran DeBhal, Brian Hopper, David Martin, Anthony McDonnell, Michelle McNally and Gabriel O'Shaughnessy - all chosen on merit. Congratulations to all involved -including all those who put their images forward for selection. Another very proud day in the history of the club.
