FIAP BLUE BADGE WINNER

Never expected this at all. In this print salon I had six of my eight prints accepted. Last year there were 1320 prints entered by 219 authors and 247 of these prints were accepted for the exhibition - an acceptance rate of 18.7% .In this salon I was awarded a FIAP Gold Medal and a FIAP HM last year - to be awarded "Best Author" this year is indeed a great honour - they must like my images in Slovakia ! This salon is a little unusual in that an authors work is presented as a collection (not themed) but judged together as a collection of the authors work. It seems very well organized as it was the first salon I entered that notified me the package I sent by post had actually been received - it's always nice to know your entry has indeed been received in time.

This is my second FIAP Blue badge, but to date, I have not yet received my first one despite contacting the organizers of the 3rd Great British Small Print Circuit in the UK. I don't intend to let matters rest until I do possess my award - the proverbial hen's tooth !
